Each year the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce hold seminars and workshops meant to educate members on a variety of topics ranging from Customer Services to Marketing their business.
Right To Work And Healthcare Refrom Seminars
The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance proudly presents two seminars to assist northern Michigan Businesses:
Session 1: Right to Work is Now The Law of Michigan: What Does it Mean for Your Business? Held from 9: 30am - 11:30am
Session 2: Healthcare Reform: The Practical Guide to Help You Prepare. Held from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Both sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at the Vienna Room inside Boyne Mountain Grand Lodge in Boyne City. Attend either session for just $59 / person or attend both for $99 / person. Registration fees include the seminar, all materials and light refreshments. Lunch will be available on your own at Everett's Lounge, if you choose. Quality of Life Survey Informational Meeting - March 6th at 8am
How Can the Quality of Life Assessment Help Your Business?
The recent Otsego County Quality of Life Assessment can be much more useful to your business than it appears at first glace. The information is not merely a collection of facts about the opinions of Otsego County residents; it can prove to be a valuable planning tool for the future of your organization. The Otsego County Quality of Life Advisory Team, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, will be holding a seminar on how your business can use the results to develop a SWOT Analysis for your business, highlighting potential opportunities and threats your business may face in the future. The seminar will cover how to develop a SWOT Analysis integrating the Quality of Life research to develop a strategic plan for your organization. Meet & Greet with Senator John Moolenaar - February 18, 2013
The Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee will hold a Meet & Greet with Senator Moolenaar to discuss business issues and State Government on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 1-2pm at the University Center of Gaylord, room 111. This presentation allowed people throughout the community to hear from Senator John Moolenaar as well as ask questions.
